I love chevron print. Absolutely love it. I just feel like it makes everything look so trendy. If it were up to me, everything in my house would be chevron print. In fact, I’m currently on the lookout for a chevron print sitting bench for my bedroom.
A few months ago I wrote a post about making a crochet scarf for my friend. Ever since then I’ve decided to put up more handmade crochet goodies on my blog.
So this post is about a blanket that I made for my friend’s new baby girl. When Z was born, I crocheted two blankets for him (read all about that here). Ever since then I’ve always wanted to make more baby blankets. I think a handmade crochet blanket can be an amazing gift and it also allows me to try out new patterns.
The blanket I’ve made is from Ansley Designs. I’ve copied the pattern word for word because I just loved the colour scheme. The mint and coral pair together so well for a baby girl theme.
It took me about 2 months or so to make this. But then again I do a little bit whenever I’m resting or watching tv at night so I take my own sweet time. If I did it in one go I would have probably finished it a lot quicker. Overall I really enjoyed making this one and can’t wait to start my next project!
